Another GL Alum Heads to Oakdale

That's right! Kurt McKinney (ex-Matt, GL) will be joining his former Springfield co-stars Tom Pelphrey (Mick; ex-Jonathan, GL) and Daniel Cosgrove (soon-to-be Chris; ex-Bill, GL) for a brief recurring stint on ATWT as Craig's shady business partner, Ellis. Look for the actor to begin airing in late February.

Considering ATWT's been cancelled, I guess all appearances by everyone will be brief

I really love Kurt. I first saw him on GH as Ned, and while WK is considered the definitive Ned, I have a soft spot for Kurt. Also loved him on GL.

I actually haven't watched ATWT for awhile, it's too depressing. But I should start watching again soon.

Same, I really want to watch the 'final year of ATWT' but I just can't seem to motivate myself to do it.

On a side note i am BEYOND pissed that they couldn't get Merideth Haggner to sign on for a few more months. I mean really the show is ENDING we don't need / want a recast Liberty.

OMG, "final year of ATWT" - that sounds/reads so awful!!

I didn't realize that Merideth quit. Maybe she's got another job lined up and that's why they couldn't get her to stay? So are they definitely going to recast or are they just going to write her off?

She announced months ago that she was leaving (before the cancellation's) and now it came out that she has been recast.

Yes of course she probably was ready to go and i don't blame her, but the show is ENDING! I mean it is going to the final moments, and Parker/Liberty were my 'teen' couple, so losing them means we are losing a big part of why i love the sohw.

Oh that's a bummer A recast stinks, but at least they're not killing her off...

I actually think the only reason she is going to 'live' is because the cancellation LOL, I think if the show was renewed they would have killed her off in a heartbeat .
